Instructions for Submitting Song:

Mixing:

1. Export Session Stems or Full Session (Pro Tools or Logic Only). If Unsure how to Export  Google "How To Export Session Files *Insert DAW name*" Or "How To Send Session Stems *Insert DAW Name*. If sending stems please remove any and all Plug-ins in the session. If you have a sound in particular you'd like to keep let us know the name of the plugin and the parameters used and we will apply them on our end. 

2. Send session/stems along with a bounced down "Rough Mix" version of it if you have one.

Mastering:

1. All files must be in 44.1khz format (48khz if sending to Justin), and at least 24 bit

2. All files must be WAV. NO MP3s.

3. All Files must have at least -6db of headroom. 

4. Please remove all limiters or compressors from your master buss. (Excluding Reference Master)

5. Have all individual tracks edited with clean fades, as we aren't responsible for any cuts or pops within the master when the problem exists in the individual track. 

6. Leave some room at the beginning & end of the song to give us some room to work with fades.

7. Do NOT send session files, only WAV files.

Toussaint (T) Lorenz

Engineers

Toussaint (T) Lorenz is a Father, Husband, And Creative From Denver, Colorado. He Does Alt. Hip-Hop, Audio Engineering (Recording, Mixing, and Mastering), and Marketing (Google & Facebook Ads). He Currently engineers out of Fox & Robyn Recording Studios at 1517 Timberland St, Loveland, CO 80538 as well as his home studio. 

 

Being an artist, Toussaint has the unique perspective and ability to connect with other artists as he has a keen understanding for their position. His goal is to do what is best for the artist and song by listening, as well as helping direct the sound to its full realization and potential. He'll tell you first that, it's about what the record needs.

 

Toussaint Has been Audio Engineering since 2019. He's rigorously pursued his sound engineering abilities through various courses including The Reverse Engineer at Mastering.com, Mixing With MikePuremix.com, just about every book and YouTube Video he could access as well as the thousands of hours practicing the craft, Sometimes even falling asleep at his computer (True Story). 

 

Apart from music of all Genre his favorite things to indulge in are Fashion (Watching The Met Gala was one of his secret guilty pleasures until you read this right now), Anime, Pop Culture, Cuisine, Concerts, and Spending Time with His Family. Justin Kohler

Justin Kohler is a Father and Family man. He is the Owner and Head Engineer at Fox and Robyn Recording Studio , Works as an AV Technician and is a musician himself playing Guitar and Drums. 

 

Justin built Fox and Robyn Recording Studio with a primary goal to provide a sense of warmth and comfortability to the Recording, Mixing, and Mastering Process, while cultivating a quality sound that both his clients and their listeners would love. “I’d say Comfortability is a key ingredient to getting the best performance out of an artist” - Justin Kohler. 

 

Justin has Been Engineering since 2006 when he went to college for it at Aims Community College in Greeley, CO. He graduated with an Associates in Communications Media. His journey wouldn’t cease there as he routinely uses his knowledge in the realm of Live Performances at local venues in the Fort Collins/Longmont/Loveland area, as well as various churches and even for the legendary Nu Metal Band, Slipknot. When he’s not working on live performances though he utilizes his degree and skillset to help budding independent artists achieve their musical goals. 

 

Outside of music Justin enjoys Camping, Archery, Art (Primarily Abstract) Frequenting the Denver Art Museum (The Louvre is on his bucket list), History, Movies (Deadpool & Wolverine being his favorite as of this writing but anything by acclaimed and renowned writer/director Wes Anderson being his favorite overall), and Spending Time With Family.
